Hey guys. Well I've never asked everyone this before, but I'm curious. What's your favorite kind of music to listen to? Since I like music of all kinds, it's hard for me to pick, but if I really had to pick it'd be stuff from the 80's and 90's for me I guess since that's what I grew up with. But I really like international music, and dance, a cappella, brit pop, classical, soft rock, country, oldies, 70's, folk, some indi rock or pop, and just lots of stuff. So anyway, just write in and let's see who likes what.

Boy, that's hard to say. my collection is a bit of this and that. I play music part time, so in order to keep myself honest, I really try to listen to everything. I guess if I had to picka favorite, it would be pretty much any kind of jazz. Mind you, that is a reluctant and difficult choice for me.

metal, death metal, (preferably Christian but whatever), grindcore, celtic, a little country, pop, basically everything. Mostly metal, but like I said mostly everything.

And everything else, but metal.

Everything but metal, hardcore techno and too much opera and/or classical bores me. My top 5 faves are: rAndB, Christian Contemporary, classic rock, oldies and hip-hop.

My faves are punk, ska and reggae, but I like other stuff too.

Mostly alternative/grunge/Hard Rock, Metal and all its sub genres, punk ska reggae, and other odds and ends from other genres. Well yeah opera usually puts me to sleep though .. which made it extremely difficult when i was a music major and had to study that stuff.

I really like reggae music. It's uplifting and very spirtual. The harmonies in reggae are genuine and can't be found in any other genre of music.

Rock, metal, some heavy metal, christian rock or metal, (that's what most of my heavy metal is), country and electronic.

Hard rock, metal of all types, a lot of classic rock, grunge, some classical (but really only piano stuff), pop, a little bit of old school rap, basically anything that sounds good to me. The only stuff I really don't wanna touch with a 10 foot pole is country and definitely not opera.

Electronic is certainly my favorite to play, and I enjoy listening to the more complex types of it. Ambient, Transe which I've started to get in to more recently, and more complicatted techno. I'm also a big fan of 90's alternative, older hip-hop, and some of the newer country stuff. Heavy metal and opera are about the only Genres I don't like something from.

Although I do like other genres of music, I wasn't sure what exactly my favorite was. I know it's rock, but I never paid attention to what kind of rock I tend to like more. Anyway, after making a list of bands whose music I like (and assuming Wikipedia is right), the majority of what I like falls under alternative rock and alternative metal. Most of those bands that I was looking up fell under other genres, but the 2 I mentioned were the most consistant type.

that's definitely not an easy one. I listen as much to death metal as romantic and baroq classical music. I also have a pretty good selection of alternative rock, jazz, blues rock and a little contry in my computer. but if I had to choose I'd have to say classical music for now even though I try to remain true to metal as best I can.

Omg what a hard decision... lol I love all kinds of music, but I think my fav would have to be the Older R & B

I've got quite an eclectic taste, anything rom country, accoustic, folk, some blues, pop from the 60's and beyond, some rock, and indy, even the odd reggae song.
